Health, Safety & Environment

Your safety is our highest priority at RAHRC. All members and guests should be aware of relevant safety procedures and regulations, by referring to documents produced by the Golf and Boat Centres about different areas of activity, the swimming pool and beach areas, and the notice boards where safety notification is displayed.

Traffic Rules at RAHRC

Waterfront Safety

Children under the age of 13 must at all times be very closely supervised by a competent adult swimmer around the beach and pool areas. When the red flag is up, no one is allowed to enter the sea. See the Waterfront Procedures here. Please also read about the orange marker buoys here.

Only plastic glasses or paper cups are to be taken onto the beach, including the BBQ area, and around the swimming pool.

Roller skates, skateboards and hover-boards are not allowed on the roads, or on the main patio area at RAHRC or the Golf or Boat Centre areas. Ensure that appropriate protection is worn (e.g. shoes, knee pads, elbow pads, helmets, etc.).
