The RAH Astronomy Section runs regular trips to remote and dark sites on or around new moons throughout the year. The Section has a range of high-specification astronomical equipment with experienced operators drawn from its membership and trained by the senior members of the Section.
We aim to view a range of space objects from planets, galaxies, nebulas, star clusters as well as our own moon. Members also undertake astro-photography
